Last night
you were worried
that I’d feel bad
and you’d feel sad
that I’d think it a joke
and we’d lie back and smoke
that I’d begin to neglect you
and then I’d forget you
 
but I don’t
 
and you don’t
 
and I didn’t
 
and we didn’t
 
and I won’t
 
because we will
